Why does the moon look different everyday?

If you are wondering about the moon and you want some information you have come to the right place. The extraordinary asteroid (the Moon) has lunar phases. These are the phases (New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter,Waxing Gibbous,Full Moon, Waning Crescent and Last Quarter.) If you want to know more you should carry on reading! Enjoy the rest while you can.

Some people think that Earth has given the moon the shadows, so there are like the Crescent Moon, Gibbous Moon all the other moons AKA Moon shadows, I will tell you the truth, It is actually the sun you gives the shadows because when we are orbiting the sun and the moon is orbiting us it sometimes gets in front of us and lights up one side while the side that is facing us is black which is called a new moon.

The moon has different phases which are amazing because they give great shadows and makes you think on how you would like to see the moon in front of you. That is the kind of feeling I get. Sometimes I would look through the telescope and see the moon. If you would see it it has this shine but how does it get its shine. It gets its shine from the Sun’s reflection. You guys might want to know what I am talking about. The sun reflects its light to the moon and the moon shines as bright as the sun during the night.

Now you guys might be thinking when I will be done. Well I am actually done! If you guys think this was helpful please carry on finding out more facts and show what the moon is actually about. Make the moon special and talk about it and show what the truth is! If you want more facts about the moon Search this! (http://www.primaryhomeworkhelp.co.uk/moon/facts.htm)

  1. Namaste Sinead,
Thank you for sharing your learning about the Moon and why it appears to change shape every night.

In terms of your writing, your next steps are:
    1) To add more factual detail - this will help your writing to 'flow' more. You have chosen to write a few opinions, but a few more facts will help to strengthen your writing.
    2) Proofreading your work - it is a very important skill to be able to proofread your work and pick out grammatical and spelling errors.
