What have been your learning highlights so far this term?

I best one was going to camp because we got to do more out going activities.

What were your Learner Profile goals for Term 3? Have your goals changed? Are you on track to meet your goals?

My goals were to take on leadership roles. Not much just a little bit. Yes I am because I am taking on leadership roles.

If you were the teacher, what comments would you make about your learning so far this term?

I would say that I am on track and I am getting close to my goal!

As you look back at your learning so far, what's one thing that you would like to try to improve upon over the next few weeks?

I would like to improve my divisions because I am struggling to work them out quickly.

My learner profiles are to be balanced! My goals have changed a little because I am al most getting there for my balanced goal to be out of the way. I am on track to meeting my goals because i am almost there!

My comment would be to work harder and never give up.

I would like improve on everything so I can be a perfect learner

2015 ANZAC Reflection

This is about what I have learn't! Please enjoy it!

What:

I have learn’t that some of the soldiers were really special because they earned medals. I have also learn’t that some soldiers were really brave like going under gun shots to find their injured team.

So What:

I have learn’t something special and really interesting about WW1! It is really emotional and solemn. It is really important because its about all those men who have been in war risking their lives.

Now What:

I will keep on learning about ANZAC until our new topic. I will share the information to my family and friends so they can see how solemn this is.

Reflection…

What:

For reading this week we have been focusing on searching the authors purpose. Searching the authors purpose means to find out the main idea that the author is trying to tell you or show you.

So what:

Why were we doing this?

We were doing this because it helps us understand what the text/author is trying to explain or evaluate the text/fact. We were working hard and reading hard about this and try understanding the text. It has helped us alot.

Now what:

My next strategy is by reading another text with another text  because it helps me to learn it in certain ways! I think this has helped me alot because I have learnt how to find the authors purpose.
